I bought this product to protect my Apple power / sync cord from my animals. They love to chew on the white cable, and this is easy to wrap around mine. It makes it so they don't want to chew on it - and if they do, their teeth can't hurt it. Perfect protection for any cable. (The size I got was exactly right, I would suggest up-sizing for most people.)

Our sailboat ran out of wiring room in the stainless 1" pod tubing when a 545 GPS w/XM weather was installed. Though a housing was found for the GPS itself (discontinued model), the wires still were going to show for 18" or so. Since there is existing black trim on the nav station, I chose black F6 in 2 sizes. Ran thru black rubber grommets also from CableOrganizer. I will use silicone self-amalgamating tape to finish wire ends that must remain connected. The end product will look very together; cleaning up even previous professionally installed hookups. Overall, the completed project is far better than I ever expected with minimal issues.

I purchased a couple different sizes. 1 inch was used to bundle cables heading up from my entertainment center to the wall mounted TV. All of the cables were already bundled together with twist ties, and the product still improved the look quite a bit.

I also purchased 1/4 inch to bundle some wires together for a satellite radio in my car. It turned an embarrassing mess of wires into a professional looking installation.

Both of these installations were super simple, and really cleaned up the clutter.

I am using this to clean up the wire runs in my homebuilt Velocity homebuild/Experimental aircraft. While I have liked the looks and abrasion protection of the "snakeskin" wraps it was a real pain to apply. This product solves that problem. I was thrilled when a friend introduced me to this product. The fire resistant version makes a good product even more well suited for my needs.

The Hawaiians' call this type of gear 'Da Kine'! IT WORKS!!!

Tie fasten this to the cable ladder by pushing the tie thru the mesh- run your cables; thread in new cables pianlessly, insert/extract one at any point! This wrap corners as sharp as your cable can go without opening, just keep the seam up when mounting. You don't have to mount it, I dont think they intended that.

Downside - no protection for overbending fiber/cable, so watch your radus! we use hard curve forms to run against - if your yanking the cable that hard you should not be in the DC anyway.

In the end the data center is neat clean cables protected, and the CTO is happy to show the world your Data Center.

We use this to cover senstive sensor cables in medical research to add strength & protection. ALso, an array of sensor cables with the braided sleeve allows us to fix the sensor cables indirectly to the human participant. Basically without this cable it would be hard to run our research. The sleeves remove a lot of clutter and self-coiling of the sensor cables. Further, i am amazed at the number of years of rough use these sleeves can take! 4 years and counting..without a single replacement with harsh chemical cleaning! Makes research so much easier! [...]

This is one of my favorite products. It is the perfect combination between braided sleeving and wire loom. The F6 has a great bend radius (flexibility), so it won't open up even if you bend it tightly. I use it at the office and to organize my home theater wires.

F-6 is a great product for covoering unsightly bundles of cables. it goes on with ease, secures around itself, and is very clean and neat looking!
