The new earPod iPod® accessory houses the wires from your ear buds in a plastic round enclosure and was designed for iPod® users, by iPod® users. 700 iPod® users were recruited to assist in designing this product to cater to the needs of the everyday iPod® user. When you are not using the ear buds or do not need the entire length simply coil the wire around the earPod. This will avoid having tangled and knotted wires in the bottom of your bag or pocket. The center compartment on the earPod can store the ear buds and plug and the felt lining in this compartment protects the ear buds from any damage.

Comments about earPod:
The earPod is so far the best way I've found to store my ear buds. It's compact enough to carry around easily, and keeps the cords tangle free, without worrying about damaging the cord due to any tight bends or coils. It's very quick and easy to wrap and unwrap the cords.
The front face rotates open to access the plug/earbud storage. While it's nice and slim, the front reliefs don't offer much grip, so it's easier to open by pushing from the side. Also, it's hard to tell which side is hinged and which side the latch is on, so I used a marker and put an arrow on the side to push open.
The belt clip on the back is handy, and also removable, if you want it slimmer to put in a pocket/bag.
I would recommend it. I hate clutter and tangled up cords, so after I bought my first one, I got three more to store all me earbuds cleanly and neatly.

Comments about earPod:
I have used the earbud case for two years now
with my old iPod buds and I love it! I just got an
iPhone and ordered another case for my iPhone
buds. This is the best product I've seen out there.
I recommend it to anyone who asks how I protect
my earbuds when I travel. It's great to store in
my purse, and although some people think it big,
I don't. I like finding it in the bottom of my purse,
in a dark airplane.

Comments about earPod:
Product was much larger than I expected, I have a nano and was looking for an easy way to organize my earbuds... this case is bigger than the nano, so it didn't work for me. I found a pair of retractable ear buds that work much better.
