We ordered the ELECTIRDUCT 5 FT CABLE PROTECTOR SKU CP-D-2-5 and used this tape as directed. In addition, we clean both the linoleum floor and the underside of the cable protector with alcohol prior to installation. We are only running two cables inside the protector so it is being used properly. The tape sticks to the linoleum floor just fine. It doesn't stick to the protector very well though. After installation the cable protector is staying in place for now (as pretty much anything would after applying ten feet of double-sided tape) but there are large gaps between the floor and the cable protector in the areas that the tape is not sticking. In time, dirt will get into these gaps. This tape should be able to completely seal the protector to the floor. One problem lies in that the protector doesn't lay completely flat on the floor - its wings curl outward somewhat and since it's made of very strong rubber, you need some pretty strong tape to make sure it stays flat. We ordered another roll of tape and will try applying 20 feet of tape this time around to see if it works. Otherwise, we may order another protector - maybe ours curls out more than it should.
