I had an old metal door that went out to the garage that was painted . I wanted something that looked more like a real wood door . I used " contact paper " to cover up the old paint , imperfections , & scratches . It covered in two rolls and seamed in the middle , and looks like a real wood door. Much cheeper that have to replace it with a real wood one . You cannot tell the differance .

Couldnt find the color I wanted, wallnut or something dark like black wallnut. I couldnt remove wrinkles easily and it didnt want to lay flat. The material was thin. It did cut easily. The quality of the wood grain not so much but at a distance it was ok. I used it on a wood display plaque. The adheavice wasnt strong and kept lifting off finaly I used Elmers to help hold it down.

Comments about Wood Grain Contact Paper:
My laminate desktop edge was completely ruined by my chair arms hooking under and pulling off the laminate. I could not find a suitable replacement for my desk type without spending thousands of dollars. By using this wood grained contact paper to match and cover the damaged edge, I have extended the life of my desk and saved my company big dollars, all for less than $10.00!

Comments about Wood Grain Contact Paper:
Attempted to apply to flat clean metal surface but it would barely stick and lift in several spots. Might work to line shelving but that would be about it.

The product was used to wrap/line a coffee table made of mdf material custom designed. This proved very difficult given the material choice, but the finished profuct looks amazing.

Comments about Wood Grain Contact Paper:
I love the look of this, but it's too narrow to cover the side of the vanity! So, I ended up not using it for what I originally purchased it for because you could see the seam. Instead, I used it to line the bathroom vanity on the inside, instead of using it on the outside.

Comments about Wood Grain Contact Paper:
Have not used the product on the project that I purchased it for, but have tested it out. It appears to be a solid product for the price. At this time no negatives available. For being contact paper, looks good. I plan on using the material with medium duty fiberboard to make a trim repair in my camper.

Comments about Wood Grain Contact Paper:
Needs better adhesive; I'd carefully cleaned and dried the area, but the edges don't stick well. Either it was old stock - or maybe made in China....
