After splicing, fibers are incredibly delicate and become subjected to further damage if not protected properly. There are many techniques and products available for protecting bare splices, such as mechanical enclosures and heat shrink tubing, but if you need to provide a safe location for multiple splices, a fiber splice tray would be the ideal solution. LANscape® Corning Cable Systems Fiber Splice trays use proven designs and fiber organization technology to provide optimum physical protection, management, and bending radius for spliced fibers. These splice trays are also designed to work with Corning Splice Housings for even greater protection and fiber management |
- Multiple tray styles offered for supporting a wide range of fiber count and splicing applications, such as RTV fusion, heat-shrink fusion, mass fusion, and mechanical splices
- Versatile design can be used in single-mode or multimode applications
- Splice organizers provide positive holding action for maximum protection and integrity
- Metal trays are constructed from rugged aluminum and feature crimpable metal tabs for buffer tube strain-relief, with additional cable tie down points provided for further cable management and strain-relief
- Finished in a durable black powder coating designed to handle constant use and outdoor conditions
- Universal plastic tray supports most splicing techniques, and features a clear cover for high fiber visibility, which is ideal for inspection and maintenance
