Purchased the "transparent" cover for residential use. It's not totally transparent and really a little "bulky" for the area in which I'm using it - but it's the best I've found so far - and better than the grey or brown ones for industrial use that you find in the hardware stores.

I've been looking for a solution to cables on the floor of my home office for several years, this seems ideal no matter what the floor surface. Works equally well on carpet, tile and wood, elminates a safety hazard of triping over cables or pulling them loose and damaging equipment. Installs easily, protects cables and cords and looks good.

This cord cover is great if you want to see what you are covering....always. It works great for lights. Can be used for Christmas lights, movie theater lighting, anywhere you need to protect and illuminate. Usually works well in temporary situations, but makes for a great cord cover if your floor or carpet is an odd color because it kind of blends.
