These light duty dropovers (ED 1050) are perfect to supply temporary housing for cords and cables in offices with computer, phone and light electrical cables, schools, computer labs, warehouses, malls, retail stores, etc ... where there is pedestrian traffic. Sturdier than Wiremold cord covers and expandable like our heavy duty cable protectors, they offer great versatility. The ED 1010 is a medium duty dropover. It supplies temporary housing for cords and cables in plants, malls, retail stores, parking lots, fairs and expos etc.

We used two to cover some water lines in front of a door. We hope to minimize trips, and avoid moving the water lines as they connect to a vibration sensitive laser. This was the lowest profile cover I could find that would work.
The only con is that the finish is uneven. In most places it has a nice grippy texture to it. But on the side (same side on each one, so I think it is common) about 4 inches are shiny and less grippy.

This is a great product. If you have heavy traffic and need to protect your data/power cables this is the way to go.
The only problem I have had with this product is on Tile floors. The hard plastic is somewhat slick and needs to have plastic feet attached for better gripping.
