This is a cover that fits over cables. There is not a bottom. Although there are 7 channels, it is difficult to route the cables through the channels because of the lack of a bottom. However, once routed, the cover stays put on the floor- just don't lift it up.

This is by no means a heavy duty cover. It is the kind of cord cover you would use in a large office setting for foot traffic only. Nothing too heavy on there. It feels kind of rubbery which makes it stay put better than the plastic cord covers.
