Thermwire® wrap is available in 3 and 6 watt per foot models, at both 120 volts and 240 volts, and are excellent for energy efficiency and durable for all weather conditions. In addition, this wrap can be used for all standard drain line applications, both internal and external to the pipe.Installation is easy, just trace the pipes or roof and gutter, and energize the cable. The Thermwire will quickly react to provide more heat on the coldest nights, and less heat on warmer days, to keep your pipes at just the right temperature.

  • Made with twin 16 AWG copper buss wires, which give excellent and reliable electric current capability
  • Meets with the strict standards set by UL E174357, as well as CSA Certifications for both commercial and residential pipe freeze protection applications
  • Inclusion of tinned copper braid adds extra mechanical protection in any environment, and gives a positive ground path
  • There is no need to incorporate a thermostat, however, for optimal results, use thermostat to turn device on and off
  • The Truck Packs include 100' of cable, two power connection kits, one splice and tee kit, and one roll of application tape
