MIDI cables allow you to transmit signals to a variety of electronic devices that contain synthesizer software. They help to save time and money by allowing you to use your computer to edit and sequence different clips of music, rather than going to a studio or a professional editor. Signals sent over CBI MIDI cables are capable of mirroring extremely detailed pieces, allowing the receiving synthesizer to copy the key depressions, velocity, pressure sensitivity, changes in modulation wheel, and foot pedal moves. |
CBI's MIDI cables feature Neutrik brand 5-pin DIN connectors that are all metal and hand-soldered. They have the option for a 3-pin wired (MIDI) cable for standard MIDI applications or a 5-pin wired (MIDIQ) cable that can be used for all-purpose MIDI or control cable applications. Their cables are flexible, making it easy to run them where it is most convenient. They come in a variety of lengths between 3-20 feet, and custom sizes are available, as well as custom colors.
- Connectors are hand-soldered for the best quality attachment and precision
- Soldered connection provides greater tensile strength on the connector
- Standard MIDI cable equipped with Serve Shield, and MIDIQ Cable equipped with a 95% braided shield for EMI/RFI protection
