Comments about Cable Winder:
I chose these thinking they were a replacement for the discontinued Cord-It units I had been using. Not a good choice. They cannot accommodate peripheral power cords or the longer USB cords. One broke during first turning. These might be ok to keep iPod charger cords straight but they are not any kind of substitute for the sturdy, smooth-winding Cord-Its.

Comments about Cable Winder:
This product is easy to use, but not for laptop cables. I bought 2 cable minders for my daughter to use with her laptop, both of them broke after 3 months. I have one on my cell phone charger and it works fine. These just can't handle a laptop cable.

Comments about Cable Winder:
I LOVE this product but it was a bit of taking a chance on whether or not they would work for me!
Specific connection examples up front would help me. I have now used them for my telephone, headphones, PDA, laptop, printer and in my "extra cords" bag. My favorite winder is the Yin Yang, in part because it is FLAT on both sides! It's wonderful! I did not see that anywhere, so. As I said, list that right up front!
Finally, as my niece said, can we get them in other colors and decorations?'

Comments about Cable Winder:
I have dozens of the larger Cord-Its but I wanted something smaller for ear buds and USB cables. I use two Yin-Yang Cable Winders on my desk for my cell phone and Zune mp3 player cords. They stay handy, so my desk doesn't look like a pile of spilled spaghetti. When unwinding these cases, the cord often snags on the cover slot so I have to watch carefully. I want to try the black style to see if it's better, like the Cord-Its, but every time I check they're out of stock. A 1"-1.5" size would be even better for ear buds, which have those long but really skinny wires.

Comments about Cable Winder:
I gave my wife one of these to organze her ipod cords in her car. She loved it. I bought this on and the others listed. I found these slipped loose easier than the others. This one did come in the attractive ying yang style. Great product to get supper organized. No more tangles. I love them to keep my lap top cords organized when traveling.

Merchant response: We're sorry to hear that you found these to be of a lower quality than the Cord-Its that you're used to! And to prevent future capacity issues, we'll start tracking down some additional product specs regarding the cable lengths and sizes that are compatible with the Cable Winder.
