Comments about Cable Fish:
Good safety item for pets and kids! I use these on our shades' pull-cords all through the house to keep our cats from chewing on them. The cords are wound up out of reach and taken down easily without tangling, the fish comes in different colors, and it's perfect for the thickness and length of the cords. Mine hang head-down with the cord going down through the tail, around the body, and out the mouth. Love, love, love them.

Comments about Cable Fish:
I do a lot of tech travel, and have some serious cable management issues so I've been experimenting with various products to help with that. I bought one of every color of these Cable Fish they have, and I think they're nice products. I'd definitely buy more when needed for the right application, but I'm not sure they're right for mobile workers trying to tame the cable balls in their backpacks.
The cables stay put by tucking into a slit cut into the fish eye and the tail. These slits are not that wide. For instance, my USB phone charger cable won't go in without some pinching, and with constant repeated use this may strain the cabling some.
Also, computer or even phone charger cable you will probably have to wrap it around from the eye down to the tail and back up to the eye a couple times. It won't look particularly tidy, and will probably take up more room in your bag then before.
I think these are best for permanent installations such as for taking up slack in a lamp power cord. This appears to be what's in the picture, and probably what the manufacturer had in mind.
Regardless, they're cute, they're fun, they work fine and I'm pretty happy with them. I haven't given the kids their fish yet, but I'm sure they'll love them.

Not only are cable fish a great way to get a tangle of cords out of the way, they look cool too!

Comments about Cable Fish:
There is nothing to this fish. It is a piece of plastic that allows you to wrap wires around quickly. My kids get more fun out of this than the cables do. A baby or toddler has a great chew toy with this.
