How It Works
1. Plug AC adapter (100v ~ 240v) into the mains, lift inner tray and plug the adapter into The Sanctuary power socket.
2. Select your device connector(s). Replace inner tray with selected connector(s) on top of the inner tray.
3. Plug in your electronic devices and charge. Add keys, wallet and watch as desired.
4. OPTIONAL: Plug-in your own USB charge cord to the built-in USB socket and wind surplus cord length around the integrated cable management pins.
Then plug-in and charge also Bluetooth headsets, portable game consoles, and hundreds more such USB devices.

I love the concept of this. The main problem I see is that the power adapters aren't interchangable. We have 3 iPods in our house, as well as one iPhone. Yet this would only have one power unit for that.
If they could make it so that you could order duplicate power cords, that would be perfect.

if you have more than one of the same brand cell phone/mp3 player this is not worth it. you cannot swap out plugs and the cables are always tangled under the false bottom making it sit uneven. plus i cant charge my psp with it.

I like this charging station quite a bit - it's compact and modern with a nice, well thought out design. Unlike some that are designed to look like traditional furniture, the Blue Lounge is a throwback to the 70's. It's somewhat pricey for what looks like just a plastic box and foam, but it's what you don't see that makes it worthy. Everything is hidden under the foam platform - no drawers or cheap dividers. There are a multitude of connectors for a large variety of devices EXCEPT the LG that my husband uses!. Literally, there are hundreds of devices that can be charged, but not the one I needed. We can still use it for his phone but it requires an additional outlet to incorporate his charger, which is okay, but if you want to use just a single outlet, make sure your device is listed before purchasing.

BlueLounge® USB Charging Cables
Merchant response: The Sanctuary was designed originally for hotel use so that patrons would be able to charge their cell phones and not be able to remove pieces of the unit. There is an additional USB port inside the unit for use with any USB charger the user may already have. Bluelounge has recently come out with individual short cords that go into the one open USB port of the Sanctuary for non included styles that wernt already included such as the Motorola Narrow and Wide plug type, Nintendo DS & DS Lite, Sony PSP, Mini USB, and the Samsung A1 & A2 types.
Currently there is no version that has any more adaptability than this one, though in future releases having the main cords being removable and/or more open USB slots are being considered (no time frame on that)
Addressing the tangling issue, I imagine quite a few of the connections are never used, I would advise simply velcro wrapping or using a cable tie on the infrequently used cords to keep them out of the way.
