SmartPath Enterprise WAPs by Black Box® provide a practical and easy solution for building a wireless network. Designed to deliver the convenience of wireless access without sacrificing speed, these access points support up to 1000Mbs Gigabit Ethernet and use a cooperative control protocol that allows all points to work together for unparalleled redundancy. |
- Can be ceiling mounted to keep the unit out of the reach of unauthorized personnel and provide easy access to cabling from cable trays and ceiling spaces
- Available in two models, depending on your environment:
- Small form factor indoor model contains integrated antennas and keeps a low profile for quick setup and clean installations
- Hardened model features an aluminum casing that resists impact and corrosion, and has an available enclosure for outdoor use; Requires antennas for operation, sold separately. Able to mount on a drop ceiling with available bracket
- Two different management options available:
- Cloud-based Management: Access point configuration is stored on a remote server. Requires no hardware aside from access points
- Perpetual Management: Requires the Enterprise Management System; each access point requires a lower cost license appropriate for systems with a large number of access points
- Up to 2000 units can be used in a single network when used with the SmartPath Enterprise Management System for consistent speeds in larger networks
- Ideal for schools, retail stores, healthcare facilities, and other enterprise-level applications
