- Front panel includes an HDMI input, and the rear panel includes a video CAT5 and a DDC CAT5 output
- RoHS compliant
Trying to connect a high-definition television or display to a remote HDMI source can be extremely labor intensive, expensive, and time-consuming if approached in the wrong way. The HDMI over CAT5 Receiver and Transmitter from Black Box eliminates the use of expensive HDMI cable runs, which require a signal booster to maintain strength for long-distance connections. Instead, this HDMI signal extender system uses your building's existing copper infrastructure, or easy-to-terminate Category 5, 5e, or 6 cable and connectors, to create an inexpensive link between your display and a source up to 250 meters away!
