Why is the shipping so expensive for the 10ft straight sections?
Our shipping companies usually give us quotes based on dimensional weight, not just actual weight of products. The longer or heavier the product, the harder it is to ship. With a 10ft section of cable tray, it is usually better, if possible, to break it down to two 5ft sections. We recommend for safety and strength that you put up a center support kit every 5ft anyways and the hardware to connect two sections is included with the order.
