What is the difference between Raceways and Wire Duct?
While there are several differences between the two products, they are quite similar. Both products are made of a PVC based material and both are excellent sources for hiding wires. Raceways are not available in as many sizes as the wire duct and come with an adhesive backing. Raceways do come with many accessories for easy installation, such as inside and outside corners to help you move from wall to wall and junction boxes and ceiling entries to make the complete system look professional and well kept. http://www.cableorganizer.com/surface-raceways/latching.html Raceways can also be painted with a latex based paint to match your walls! Wire duct is more of an industrial product and comes in a wide range of sizes and types. Wire duct does not come with adhesive backing, but does come with pre-cut screw holes for mounting your duct to the ceiling or wall. There are no accessories with wire duct and it is only available per carton. Cartons cannot be split.
