Under the technical specs for heat shrink, it gives me recovered and expanded sizes. What does that mean?
The minimum internal diameter in expanded form is basically the size that you are ordering before shrinking. See, heat shrink starts off at the smaller size diameter and is then expanded to the larger diameter that the product is sold in. Once heat is applied the tubing shrinks back down to it's original size, which is the "recovered" size, because it is back to it's normal size.. http://www.cableorganizer.com/heat-shrink/specs_3.html
