I am getting a PDC unit for my conference room. I need two RJ45 plugs. What should I get?
In reference to the RJ45 plugs you have two options. Option 1: RJ45 Jack http://www.cableorganizer.com/cat5e-jacks/ This is a standard jack. In order to install this, you would need to terminate your wire directly into the back of the plug. Option 2: RJ45 Feedthrough couplers http://www.cableorganizer.com/cat5e-jacks/#B With this option, you can purchase your patch cables already terminated and plug it directly into the back of the feedthrough coupler. The back of the coupler has another jack for plugs rather than punchdown wires! It makes installation much easier for the home user or anyone without the technical skills of networking.
