We offer many different types of tabletop outlets, and as a general rule, they’re prewired for power, but the installation and wiring of data and A/V jacks is left up to you, so that you can customize each power/data center to meet your unique needs.

Depending on the brand and specific model, desk and conference table power/data centers come with varying amounts of customizable free space. This unconfigured space gives you a place to insert data port adapters selected from an adapter kit, which will either be included with the purchase of your power/data center, or otherwise available as an inexpensive, optional add-on. After the adapters are in place, just wire and terminate the appropriate jacks, snap them into the adapters, run wires from the power/data center to main power and data outlets, and you’ll be ready to connect.

In the case of Altinex brand power/data units, you’re given the option to specify which type(s) of data port you need at the time of order, and they’ll be factory-installed for you prior to shipment. Because of this, Altinex desk outlet installation is even easier, because all you’ll need to do in preparation for use is plug in the actual unit.
