Are EZ RJ45 plug connectors better than RJ45 jacks?
The EZ RJ45 plug connectors are much easier to wire than RJ45 jacks. Regular RJ45 jacks are considered punch-down jacks. Punch-down jacks are wired from the back and if one wire isn't touching correctly or isn't bare, then the jack can be inoperable. With the EZ RJ45 plug connectors you can pull the wires completely through the front of the jack which guarantees the wires will be threaded all the way.
