The Intera line has a wide range of Audio/Visual feed through connectors to give your conference room or auditorium a professional look and practical accessibility. The PDC-ISV3000 and the PDC-IDC2000 are the only two "active" units available. These 2 modules fit in standard single gang junction boxes, and can be used with larger boxes and plates to provide a complete Data and A/V system in one location.

These two units are "active" in regards to there being an electrical feed into the units enabling them to balance incoming unbalanced stereo audio, as well as buffering the video signals to ensure quality over long distance cable runs. These active Intera units are more complex than normal feed through connections requiring a low voltage electrical input, as well as hard wiring some of the video and all of the audio.

Note: The required power for these units is 9V 500mA. A power adapter can be purchased from us in either a 6' or 50' length and must be hard wired into the Intera unit.

The PDC-ISC2000 is an excellent option for longer distance cable runs for computer video and stereo audio. The low voltage power input this unit requires is used to balance stereo audio signals and to buffer the video which helps guard against a loss of quality.

The PDC-ISC2000 has a 15 pin VGA input and 3.5mm stereo audio jack located on the front of the unit. This module has a 10 pin IDC connector on the rear for video output and 2 companion cords to give the end user a choice of how the signal can be transmitted through the wall. The 2 choices for video transfer are 15 pin VGA or 5 plug BNC style connections. The audio portion is output through a terminal block that requires a 2 strand audio cable.
