Many electrical contractors like the rigidity of stainless steel or aluminum wall boxes, but don't always appreciate the extra work required to ground them. Allied Moulded Products presents the FiberglassBox™ electrical switch and outlet box, which features a solid, non-metallic fiberglass design.

  • Features patented (4,724,282) non-metallic Speed Klamps™, which secure wire and act as a sufficient closure if the knockout is accidentally is opened
  • Meets and exceeds most UL 2HR fire ratings, eliminating the additional costs and man hours of adding putty pads or additional insulation
  • Fire wall rating allows multiple fiberglass boxes to be mounted in the same stud cavity of fire-rated walls
  • Machine-tapped screw holes allow you to start threading the screw by hand, and then quickly tighten with high-torque screwdrivers
  • Various gang sizes and internal spaces available to meet your specific application
  • Choose from two different fastening devices: nails, or the "Z" hanger bracket, which mounts on the stud face to secure hanger to wood or steel studs
