The WireMate™ is an enclosed device that provides for the orderly realignment and consolidation of tangling wires which exist with most electronic equipment setups. They include power cords, printer cables, speaker cables, telephone wires, DSL and DV connections and many other applications. It has only two parts, a base and cover, and a very unique and inclusive design setting it apart from all other partial solutions. |
Mounting material included:
4 (1" X 1/2" ) double sided adhesive tape which works in all installations.
4 pan head (combo) 3/4" zinc plated self taping screws with
4 nylon 3/4" inserts.
Unique design blends with most décors.

How it works: through the entry of the base unit, the wire excess flows through the channels for looping, aligning to posts, and exiting through either end of the unit depending on the specific application.
This device has been engineered and manufactured to encase a surprisingly large amount of wires/cables. Once the wires are set up, an attractive cover is provided which firmly snaps on the base concealing the wires. The device, through the provided tape which works in all install situations (or by optional screws), can be mounted to a wall, desk panel, configuration component or remain free standing.

The product is great. The cables and wires coming from my computer, HDTV, xbox 360, ps3, cable box, sound system printer and all other accessories were hanging on the wall and looked horrible. I really didnt know what I could do to conceal all those wires. This product was really easy and held the wires with ease. It is a tad flimsy but it doesnt matter. It works great and now all those long cables are no longer scaling up my wall and my office looks so much cleaner. I would recommend this product A+++

Things that are great ... this makes it much easier to vacuum.
Things that aren't so great ... I'm not sure how to move my computer desk now that these boxes have been added ... more to come later.

I bought this organizer for my home office and is not useful when your desk is a little but away from the power outlet. I doesn't give a clean-clutter free look and is a painful job if we decide to reshuffle the furniture around the room. Maybe good when the power outlet and the desk are very close by and when you dont plan to move your desk forever!

If the wrapping cords are thick, they won't be trapped successfully in the harnesses, but buckle, after which you'll have a hard time closing the lid. I like the concept this product tries to fulfill, but I have extension cords that needed wrapping, and this product just wouldn't work. I'll need to use it elsewhere.

Was real easy to install, just peeled back the sticker and stuck it to a base board. The "hinge/latch" mechanism for opening and closing is much better than other raceways I've used - it's pretty easy to open and close.

The WireMate is so easy to use. The 3M tape works great holding the base very securely. No tools needed is a plus. (Screws are included, but not needed). It holds more than enough wires to handle the really big wire mess situations. When the cover is snaped on, the WireMate looks sleek and stylish. Great product! Thank you.
